Personality: Just like his element, Shadow has a dark and somewhat malevolent personality. He is slightly cowardly, preferring to hide in the shadows and use fear to dominate his victims. When faced with an actual fight and the possibility of actual physical harm, Shadow will run away, cloaking his escape in shadows. He is a Gryphine of few words, preferring to convey his wishes through hisses and growls.
Abilities: Shadow is a shadow/darkness elemental. As such, he is able to create and manipulate shadows to his will. He can cause temporary blindness by surrounding the victim's eyes with such thick darkness that no light is able to shine through. Despite having only wing tines, he is still able to fly by manifesting shadows into physical webbing between the bones. His glowing red eyes are usually the only part of him you can see, as he most often keeps a cloak of shadows around him. Because of this, his eyes aren't too used to light and he can't see very well in bright light
History: Shadow was born in the darkness of underground caverns and caves. Being a shadow elemental, he thrived in this environment, terrorizing anything that ventured to deep. For whatever reason, Shadow decided to leave the comforts of his underground world one day. Faced with the brightness of a new day in completely new surroundings he started the Great Darkness, cloaking the Valley in his shadows and kidnapping an Eastern Gryphine that had been passing by. His plan was foiled by Acquila and he now fosters a grudge against her.
